Mama gets her groove back – Look 1

Orange is the new black!

Motherhood brings about lots of ch-ch-changes, especially to our bods. After your baby arrived, you probably found yourself staring at your closest and thinking "What-the-actual-F do I wear now that I'm a Mum?"

This year, I popped out a whopper (seriously, my son is huuuuge). I had a completely new body shape and size. I had NO IDEA how to style it. I called in the big guns and hired a personal stylist (and no it's not a rich-people-thing, it's so affordable I should have done it sooner). Karina from Personalised Style held my hand as I hopped back into my sassy pants. #yeahgurl

I jumped in front of Jess Worrall's cam and shot the #mamagetshergrooveback campaign only 4 and half months after the birth of my second child. Terrifying? Yep…at least I thought it would be. But, I felt fab-u-lous. And you should too. Our bodies do friggen amazing things. Let's be kind to it. Mmm k?

This week I'm fist pump excited to share 5 looks Karina styled for the NEW me. Karina explains why these looks are my jam and all items are listed so you can get your shop on too.

Maxi skirts are so popular at the moment, so I wanted to give Holly some ideas on how to dress them up and down. As a busy mum, Holly wants to be able to go from day to night very easily, and with this outfit, all she needs to do is simply swap the jackets! How easy is that?

When creating your own outfits, it’s important to think about where your eye is drawn to. For this outfit, I made sure that the main focus was to the centre, which gives the illusion of height, and also narrows in the look. You can do this by using some simple tricks like using patterns on clothing e.g. the centre panel detail of this skirt, and accessories, just like the long contrasting necklace.

Love the look? #shopmelbourne y'all!
