Let's set the scene
I'm bringing together a squad of seven unstoppable Mamas of Melbourne and our fourteen kids for a fashion focused photoshoot.
The squad includes the chief Mamas from Circle In, MumLife Australia, Motherhood Melbourne, MamaMag, Australian Birth Stories, Natalie Roberts-Mazzeo (previously Miracle Mama). Descriptions and links of all are further down the page.
Each Mama is on a mission to help women survive and thrive motherhood. We have engaged communities, our reach is organic and our connections are real.
All of us are hittin' a studio and the streets to help businesses that are trying to get in front of fashion lovin' Mamas.

Sounds fab, tell me more
You will get:
1. COLLAB PHOTOSHOOT
Your fashion products will be worn / featured in a collaborative photoshoot with seven Melbourne Mamas and our fourteen kids (7 girls and 7 boys aged from 8 months old to 10 years). Businesses that complement one another will be brought together.
2. PROFESSIONAL IMAGES
Receive a minimum of 300 high-res and low-res digital images from the entire shoot to use for business purposes (e.g. website, social media, catalogue, press release, advertising etc.).
3. ONLINE FEATURE
Feature in the #mamasofmelbEDIT blog post on Motherhood Melbourne with your name, description, website and social media links listed so EVERYONE can find you. We’ll have an online PAR-TAY to share the photoshoot and post together.
4. MAGAZINE EXPOSURE
Selected pics from the edit will appear in the October Fashion Edition of MamaMag – a magazine about local fun that gets in front of over 100,000 Melbourne Mums per issue.
5. SOCIAL MEDIA ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Tagged or acknowledged in posts by ALL participating parties whenever your product appears in a pic on Instagram.
6. SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION
1 Facebook post and 1 Instagram post about your biz. I’ll brag about you until the cows come home on Motherhood Melbourne social channels.

What’s the BIG deal?
1. INCREASE REACH
The BEST way to be seen, is to play well with others. By collaborating with a range of complementary businesses that have the same ideal customer – the reach will be OUT OF THIS WORLD.
2. AFFORDABLE & EASY PEASY
If you’re time-poor, not sure how to approach collaboration on a large scale or the cash pile is low, then this is an awesome way to get started. You don't have to gift any products (all items are returned), you don't have to attend an all day photoshoot (enjoy your weekend) and you don't have to spend time writing copy (that's my jam). I live for organising (love me a good spreadsheet) and squeal over details. Plus, it’s all tax-deductable too. Cha-ching!
3. TRUST
The underworld of social media, collaborations and influencers can be really scary for a business because the rules are…well there are no rules YIKES! With this, you can rest assure that there are Terms and Conditions. Stop sending products, crossing your fingers and hoping for one damn pretty pic. Make a biz savvy move in the right direction.

Can I see an example?
You sure can my friend. Last year I brought together Melbourne businesses and bloggers for the #hoodmamaEDIT. Plus, I recently put together the #mamagetshergrooveback campaign involving lots of fab businesses. Check out each style on the blog – LOOK 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5. I love bringing rad businesses together and working with the best behind-the-scenes people to make magic happen.

I love all of the above but what else does the small fee cover?
1. Professional photographer shooting all day and editing. Check out Jess Worrall – she’s my one and only. Natural light lover and kid whisperer.
2. Funky Melbourne photography studio hire. Of course it has that too cool for skool industrial vibe.
3. Professional fashion stylist who will ensure your clothes and accessories are looking their best on the models.

4. My organisational ninja skills. I’ll do the calling, emailing, mixing, matching and all the heavy detail stuff so you don’t have to.
5. A sassy side-kick who will help me run the entire shoot with military precision and a wardrobe manager who will look after all products.
6. Miscellaneous items – anything random that’s required to make this EPIC and ensure the crew is well feed and watered.
